£30k - £35k depending on experience
Micross Recruitment are specialists within IT recruitment. My client are amongst a select group to have received both the Queen's Award For Enterprise and Microsoft's Gold Certified Partner status, also voted Best Technology Provider in the prestigious Globe Awards. They are looking for a developer to join the large development team and to work with architects to plan and execute the re-engineering of VB6 and Classic ASP-Based programs to .NET over time.
Knowledge and experience of the following:
Extensive VB.NET experience or C# is essential
Experienced in building solutions on the .NET platform
Experience of VB6 and Classic ASP-based application
Experience in at least 2 of the following technologies would be an advantage T-SQL, web services, ASP.NET, IIS, Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, LINQ, Silverlight, or design patterns .
